About this product
Finger-jointed laminated board is a solid timber panel built by joining short lengths end to end with interlocking finger joints, then edge-gluing those lengths into a wider board. It uses short offcuts that would otherwise be wasted, and the alternating grain directions make it far more dimensionally stable than a single wide plank.
Grade is chosen by which faces will be seen. AA where both faces show, AB where one face shows and the reverse is hidden, BC for concealed structural use. Choosing the right grade rather than defaulting to the best one is usually the single easiest way to take cost out of a panel.
